Cassol Streamlines Operations with Tempo Certo Solution, Reducing Process Time by 94%

Cassol adopted the Tempo Certo solution because the technology has supported the construction sector retailer in accelerating the process of product intake and fiscal documentation, in addition to achieving greater precision in its receiving capacity. With the contracting of the Tempo Certo solution, the average process time was reduced from 4 hours to 15 minutes.

Founded in 1958 in Urubici (Santa Catarina), Cassol Centerlar is one of the largest retailers in the Brazilian construction sector, with a presence in Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul, and Paraná. Supplying the more than 45,000 items across its over 25 stores was a challenge for the company, which identified a bottleneck in the goods receiving process. Through market research, Cassol learned about Tempo Certo, a startup that develops a yard management solution.

Previously done manually, the process of waiting, typing, and confirming the supplier's unloading schedule took up to four hours to complete. With the implementation of Tempo Certo, the process is now executed in just 15 minutes, according to Cassol's Supply Chain Manager, Rodrigo Buzzetto Machado.

"We identified major improvements in the communication process with our suppliers and carriers. There was also a significant evolution in waiting time for unloading, schedule organization, order portfolio management, and data reliability. Another very important factor is the real-time control of loads that are being processed," highlights the executive.

With the Tempo Certo system, companies can schedule recurring deliveries, request the fiscal invoice in advance from the supplier (facilitating verification and avoiding returns), and ensure that receipts occur on the days and times most suitable for the business.

According to Machado, the technology also allowed Cassol to improve relationships with carriers. "With the system, we better organized the waiting time and unloading at Cassol. The process of managing receiving capacity in volume and value was also one of the main improvements implemented, as we can now precisely guarantee our receiving limits in a centralized and organized manner," he assesses.

For Cassol, another important factor in the partnership with Tempo Certo is the startup's quick resolution of specific problems and its suggestions for improvements to the company's process. "We must also emphasize the high system availability rate, which ensures Cassol's great satisfaction in using the tool," concludes the manager.
