The holding company has already implemented the yard management system in Brasil Atacadista stores and plans to expand the project to the Supermercados Imperatriz chain in the next semester.
Previously, the estimated time for each supplier's unloading was one hour, and currently, with the technology, the window is 30 minutes.
The Grupo MundialMix is a holding company that encompasses various businesses, including the Brasil Atacadista and Supermercados Imperatriz chains. The company initiated a digital transformation project in its 'atacarejo' (wholesale-retail) division to optimize goods receiving, streamlining the flow of goods through the stores' yards. The brand contracted Tempo Certo's solution for yard management, starting to digitalize the processes of scheduling, advance receipt of fiscal invoices, and all monitoring of the receiving flow.
According to MundialMix's Invoice Center Coordinator, Jorge Anjos, 11 of the Brasil Atacadista brand's wholesale-retail stores and two distribution centers are already using the system. Among the advantages the solution brought to the business is a 50% reduction in the planned time for delivery scheduling. "Before the system, all receiving schedules were done via email and phone, and many orders arrived without this prior scheduling. Because of this, there was a one-hour window between one delivery and another. Today, that time is 30 minutes," explains the executive.
With the organization of yard management in a single system, MundialMix’s supplier also gained visibility into the schedule, able to check the solution's dashboard. The delivery scheduling is done by the supplier itself, and the company's central office validates or reschedules the requested date. "This way, everyone monitors the progress on a single interface, ensuring security and transparency for all. All yard management information and the forecast for order receipts are there, which also impacts an optimized stock flow," Jorge reinforces.
Marcelo Sardagna, CEO of Tempo Certo, highlights that the autonomy of the stores in receiving goods is another key differential of the project. "Each unit can organize its yard management to expedite the flow, without depending on communication with the central office, as the information is now unified. Our support also helped suppliers to start using the system smoothly, ensuring total assertiveness in the technology implementation process," he evaluates.
Fiscal invoices for orders are also checked at the time of scheduling, making it possible to adjust orders before they go out for delivery, reducing failures previously identified only upon receipt. Due to the benefits of the Tempo Certo platform, MundialMix intends to expand the use of the solution, implementing the system in the Supermercados Imperatriz chain next semester.
